APPAREL INFORMATION:

Included below is the CVYFA apparel catalog for you to review along with the instructions and order forms.  Team parents will also have color catalogs for you to view if you’d like as well.  Although the paperwork says forms are due 9/1, please ignore that!  FORMS AND PAYMENT WILL BE DUE ON AUGUST 30 FROM 6:15pm-7:30pm!  We will also have a table set up during this time for you to preview some items.

REGULAR PRACTICE (mandatory)-TACKLE PLAYERS ONLY:
-Regular practice will begin 8/11 at CVHS practice fields from 6pm-8pm
-Practices will be Mon-Fri from 8/11-8/20 at CVHS practice fields from 6pm-8pm
-Beginning 8/22, practices will drop to three days a week for tackle (Mon, Tue, Thur).
-Some teams will drop to two days a week after the Labor Day holiday, however, this will vary per team and per coach and is subject to change as needed.
PARKING AT CVHS:  All parents must park in the side lot of the high school (closest to the tennis courts).  Parents are not permitted to park in the back lot (closest to the fields) unless they are able to produce a handicapped placard/license plate, or they are a coach carrying equipment.  
-General Rules at the HS:  There is no smoking on school grounds and we ask that you dispose of your trash in the trash cans.  Please also keep non football players off the field and equipment at all times to prevent accidents and injuries from happening.  Pets are not allowed on school property at all.
REGULAR PRACTICE-FLAG PLAYERS ONLY:
-Flag players will practice two days a week (Tue/Thur) and have games on Saturdays
-Practice will begin on Thursday, August 25 at 6pm at the CV High School Practice Fields

-This is only a message number, where we will provide you updates about practice or games due to weather…you can’t actually reach a live person
VOLUNTEERS (including all coaching staff):
-All volunteers must complete the mandatory background checks (coaches, assistant coaches, team moms, etc), and they need to be turned in by August 8th.
-To learn about these and learn what needs done, go to www.conestogvalley.org, click volunteer, click volunteer clearances, follow the steps provided
-If you have already had this completed within the last three years, you can just provide us with your previous copies.
-Copies can be given to me in person or scanned and emailed to me
-We are always in need of volunteers and we provide training!  Let us know what you can help with (team parent, chain gang, concession stand worker, announcer, field clean up, field prep, yearbook committee, banquet committee, registration committee, etc.)

-We are in need of sponsors!  If you know of anyone or any business interested in making a donation, willing to sponsor a team, or looking to learn about our other sponsorship opportunities, please let us know!
-Forms are attached for you to hand out if you know anyone interested!
PICTURES:
-Pictures are scheduled for Saturday, September 17th at CVHS.  Time will be announced at a later time.
WEBSITE:
-A new website for our organization is currently being created!  We had hoped it would be a smooth transition, but unfortunately we hit a few snags along the way and are working hard to get it up and running for you as quickly as possible.  We ask that you are patient with us during this time!

MONTHLY BOOSTER MEETINGS:
-These meetings are open to everyone, all are welcomed and encouraged to participate!
-They are generally held monthly at 7pm at the Upper Leacock Fire Hall (rear) during the off season, and on the practice fields during the season
-You can find out when they are scheduled by check our website or facebook page
-We really need more people to get involved and hope to see you there sometime!
SUB SALE:
-Our annual mandatory sub sale fundraiser will take place mid season
-Be on the look out for future emails regarding dates!
 
BANQUET:
-This years banquet will be held on November 16th, 2016 at The Eden Resort.
-Doors will open at 6pm, food served at 6:30pm.
-Watch out for emails during the season to join the committee, volunteer, and additional details
YEARBOOK:
-Please take lots of pictures!
-We will need parents to send us pictures to use in this years year book
-It is preferred that pictures are on a CD, but if needed, they can be emailed as well!
-Please watch for more information as the season begins
